WestCoast Farm is situated on unceded Indigenous lands. The Coast Salish Peoples are the guardians of these lands and waters where we live, work, farm, and play. Quw’utsun (Cowichan) is a historical place of gathering and Na’tsa’ maht Shqwaluwun/”one-heart one-mind” for many Indigenous peoples.
Poultry has been a lifelong interest turned passion.
WestCoast Farm was born in 1995 on our Malahat land & we’ve enjoyed bringing naturally raised, heritage and rare breed poultry to you ever since.
Our lines are sourced from top breeders across the continental United States. We proudly offer top quality birds bred to SOP, to be enjoyed whether you are a backyard enthusiast, 4-H member, exhibitor or looking to breed your own flocks.

Chicks
Chicks are hatched regularly year round and available as day olds, unsexed unless otherwise specified.
Pullets
Pullets are occasionally available in small batches on a first come, first served basis, offered as available.

Poultry Housing
We create, sell and deliver quality built, safe and secure poultry housing to meet your needs on a limited basis.
Shipping
We fly chicks via Harbour Air to serve you from Maple Bay to the Gulf Islands, Sunshine Coast and Lower Mainland. Let us know what you require.

Legbar - Opal, Opal Split, and Cream. Autosexing layers of blue eggs. Sexed female Chicks: Opal $50 ea Cream Split $45 ea.
Marans - Black Copper, Blue Copper and Splash Copper. Layers of dark chocolate brown eggs and dual purpose. Unsexed chicks: $18 ea.
Silverudd’s Blue - Black, Blue and Splash. Prolific layers of green colored eggs. Extremely hardy. Unsexed chicks $18 ea.
Barnevelder - Double Laced Blue, Standard and Splash. Dual purpose layer of brown eggs. Unsexed chicks $18 ea.
Hybrid Crosses
Ice Cream Bar - Silverudd’s Blue x Legbar. These are autosexing layers of blue eggs.
Sapphire - White Leghorn x Legbar. Blue egg layers.
Olive Egger - Copper Bar blue or black, black barred, blue barred or lavender. Also, Wheaten. Marans x Legbar and Wheaten Marans x Wheaten Ameraucana crosses lay stunning olive green eggs.
Mystic Vista Blues - Ayam Cemani Fibro crosses that look very intriguing and lay blue/green eggs.
